Saturday Night Carnival

On Friday night, Kyle and I decided it was time to make Brigid and Ceridwen's cribs into toddler beds. Well the girls didn't agree with the situation. First Ceri threw up all over her bed so I had to give her a bath. They wouldn't go to bed after I cleaned everything up so I took them upstairs and held them until they fell asleep. Then they both woke up at 3:30am screaming because they were scared. Ceri went back to sleep with Kyle, but I had to take Brigid upstairs with me because she was wide awake. That was when I got sick, and after that it was just downhill. :(

Thankfully my husband Kyle was such a big help! He got up with Brigid when she decided to wake up at the crack of dawn, and then later let me take a short nap when I was feeling really awful. The best thing that he was able to do for me was to pick up Ares from his dad, and then took him to the last night of the Riverfest carnival. I really lucked out when I married him! He is definitely a keeper! :)

They had such a blast! They rode lots of rides...

and when it started raining they played lots of carnival games!

Ares even won a prize!!!

Of course it wouldn't be a carnival without cotton candy! Yum! :) I'm so glad they were able to have so much fun together!
