Sponge Bombs!

This week's water play activity was sponge bombs! My aunt made sponge bombs by cutting up sponges, and tying them together with zip ties so they looked like this:

The kids then filled up mixing bowls with the hose, and spread them out around the yard.

Then it was a full out water war!

While the older kids had fun with the sponge bombs, the babies got to play in the baby pool. However, my girls were being stinkers, and wanted nothing to do with it.

Instead they wanted to play on the swing set!

Then we all cooled off with some freezi-pops! Yum-yum!!!
