Christmas Morning

The kids slept past 8 am, which was a surprise to me! I got everyone up, and we went downstairs to see what Santa had brought. Now, we had told them awhile back that Santa had called us and told us he could only bring 3 presents a piece. They then each would get a gift from us (They got sleeping bags from us, but I didn't take any pictures of them opening them.). Thankfully, Santa had a very generous mother and mother-in-law, who helped make this Christmas magical!

As you might notice there is a lot of Santa wrapping. That is because it is a family tradition, from my Dad's side, that all of Santa's presents are wrapped in Santa paper.

From Santa, Ares got a fart gun,

Ninjago Lego's,

and his own tablet! He has been borrowing my nook very often lately so I wanted him to have his own, but nook's are very expensive. Luckily, Santa found a tablet for extremely cheap. He was so excited!!!

Brigid, luckily, was a little more into opening presents than the night before. From Santa she got a baby doll with a bathtub,

and a tea set.

Ceridwen got from Santa play-doh,

and Little Mermaid instruments.

The girls then received a joint present, and that was a double baby bed/ high chair for their babies, along with baby bottles, food, etc. The loved it!!!

After they all opened their gifts, Kyle and I let them play while I made Christmas breakfast. This was the first time in a long time that I had Ares waking up at with us on Christmas morning so I wanted breakfast to be special. Pinterest helped me with that, and I made semi-homemade cinnamon rolls using crescent rolls. They were a very big hit!

After breakfast they kids started to play with their new toys. Ares and Kyle cleared off the table, and started working on his Lego kit, while the girls played with their babies. With everyone distracted I was able to get the kitchen cleaned up, laundry done, lay out clothes, pack the diaper bag, etc. :)
