Christmas Snow (Dec. 22, 2013)

On Saturday, December 21st it snowed! Here in Eastern Kansas, it is not very often we get snow in the month of December. Since I didn't get Ares from his dad until that evening, we waited until the next day to play in the snow. I'm so glad Ceri took to the snow better than she did last year. Ares had to help her at first, and then she was totally fine.

Ares wanted to make a snow angel, so we showed the girls how to make them. Ceri and Brigid liked them at first, but not for long. They quickly got back up. :p

We played in the snow for a little bit, then Ares wanted to have a snowball fight with Kyle. Those two had a blast! Ares, of course, says he won!

After this we went inside, got into some warm clothes, and I fixed everyone hot chocolate and hot tea for myself. We then played with toys, and watched some Christmas cartoons. It was a wonderful afternoon with just us!
