My little boy turned 7 this year! For his birthday he got to go on two mini vacations. The first was a trip down to Oklahoma to visit my Aunt Dianna and Uncle Blake and their kids, Cooper, Carson, and Camden. We stayed with them so Ares could have two sleepovers with his best friend, Camden. (Thank you so much Dianna and Blake for letting us stay!)
On Monday we met Dianna and the boys at Frontier City, which is a theme park in Oklahoma City. The kids had a blast and were very well behave!
This was about when we parted ways. Dianna offered to take the girls so Kyle and I could ride the rides with Ares since she had season passes and could come back and ride rides again this summer. It was amazingly sweet of her, and I am so grateful! We gave her the camera so we could see what she did with the girls, and not have to worry about transferring them from her phone. She took them to a show, and I think some rides. They had so much fun with their Aunt Dianna and cousin Carson!
Meanwhile, Kyle, Cooper, Ares, Camden, and I went on some thriller rides and roller coasters.
Then we all met up at one of the gun fight shows.
After this we all went over to the water park area. I didn't even know they had this until we go over there!!! How awesome is that!?
After cooling off and eating it was time to re-ride our favorite rides, and some we hadn't ridden yet. We caught one of the side shows that was a lot of fun that ended up making it squirt water. The kids really enjoyed this.
Since we were officially wet again it was time to ride some water rides! Dianna was able to get some good ones of us!
The only thing that was unfortunate about that day happened to poor Brigid. We were waiting for the boys to get off a ride, and she was showing Dianna and I her ballet moves when she tripped and face planted. Poor girl was a trooper though, and after cleaning her up, she didn't let it get her down.
We finally came to an end to our wonderful day at Frontier City, and before we left I was able to get a picture of all the kiddos. :)
The next day we went to White Water Bay, but since I didn't want my camera to get wet or stolen we left it at Dianna's house. The kids had a lot of fun, but we were all still pretty tired from the day before so we only stayed for a few hours.
Before we left on the 18th, I took some pictures of the kids playing with their cousins.
Thank you Dianna and Blake for having us!!!
Awe!! Fun times!
