First Day of School

Ares' first day of school was yesterday! He was so excited to start first grade! We had made his teacher a pencil vase for her, and filled it with a beautiful bouquet of flowers that included sunflowers. She loved it! She said she had seen another teacher with a similar vase, and was jealous of it so she was glad to have her own. This made Ares so happy that he could make his new teacher so pleased. I heard from other teachers that she is a very good teacher, and we are lucky to have her. All signs are pointing to a good year at school!
