Last Thursday, the kids and I went over to Kyle Ann's house to make fruit popsicles with real fruit. Together, Kyle Ann and I had a ton of fruit to choose from. Kyle Ann had a great idea though, and that was to use fresh butternut squash from their garden to mix with the fruit. Ares had the fun job of putting the fruit into the juicer. He put in watermelon and squash.
Inside the popsicle holders I placed chunks of kiwi and banana. We then poured the puree into the popsicle holders over the fruit then placed them in the freezer. Not long after lunch the popsicles were ready. The kids loved them, and devoured them. Best part was that they couldn't tell there was vegetables in it!
